Former heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-5, 53) is said to be considering returning after eight years of retirement. He wants to try and seize the world champion at the age of 49, but it seems to be inappropriate.
Wladimir Klitschko has not fought since he suffered from Anthony Joshua on April 29, 2017 in the eleventh round. Klitschko was 41 years old and was inactive two years ago, losing Tyson Fury in 2015 in a weak 12 rounds.
Wladimir seemed hellish in those fighting and in the second round of Knockout’s loss to Corrie Sanders. A loss to the anger, and Joshua showed that Wladimir was no longer such a spark. Basically, these two British giants, AJ & Fury, created a career because they probably never became stars if he had done what he should have done and knocked them out.
THE Ring reports that Klitschko wants Break George Foreman’s record to be the oldest champion. On November 5, 1994, 45 -year -old Foreman knocked out Moorer in the tenth round to record heavyweight titles of IBF and WBA.
However, Foreman was in the ideal position: an exploded, £ 175 -pound champion, Moorer, who was bad for the heavyweight competition.
It would be unfair to many riders who would wait for the World Championship shot if Klitschko jumped and immediately attacked the world champion.
The Usyk/Pulev Road
Klitschko has the only chance to return to the title to face WBA, WBC and WBO champion, Oleksandr Usyk or WBA “regular” belt holder Kubrat Pulev. 11 years ago, Wladimir knocked out Pulev in the fifth round on November 15, 2014 -he was 38 at the time.
He fails against IBF champion Daniel Dubois because he hit too hard and Wladimir has never done well against this type of warriors.
If Klitschko returns, you have to let go and have more aggression than he showed in his clashes against Joshua and Fury. In both losses, Wlad fought as if he were afraid to throw, fearing to be knocked out.
Joshua was ready to knock him out after throwing him in the sixth round at Wembley Stadium. Instead, Klitschko ignored his heel and tried to throw Joshua, which allowed him to recover and return to stop him in 11th place.
During the loss of Fury, Wlad did not fight aggressively and let the younger warrior go his path to victory. It was sad to watch this because Wladimir had the advantage of energy and hand speed, but did not pull the trigger.
If he had a coach Emanuel Steward, he would still be alive, he would have set fire to him if he scolded me in the corner to attack
