President Donald Trump said on Friday that Elon Musk was doing a “very good job” with the Ministry of Government Efficiency.
President Donald Trump does not apologize to Elon Musk. In fact, it seems to be ready to introduce a billionaire technology billionaire.
On Friday, while asking questions with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, Trump was pressed by a journalist that the media had a chance to question Musk.
“Oh, of course. He will be – not shy. Elon is not shy,” Trump replied.

Trump was also asked about the cover of a recent Time magazine, depicting a musk behind a definite desk in the oval office of the White House. In response, Trump, who was called Time’s 2024, claimed that he had not noticed that the magazine still existed.
“Time Magazine is still doing business? I didn’t even know” Trump joked. At the same time, he gave a serious praise to the tech billionaire. “Elon is doing a great job. You’ll find enormous fraud, corruption and waste.”
The president explicitly praised Musk’s work on the expenditure of the United States International Development Agency (USAID), saying “the whole fraud”.
“Each line I examine for events and transactions is corrupt or ridiculous,” Trump told reporters before adding, “He’s doing a very good job. I am very pleased with him.”

Democrats try to frighten federal workers from accepting DOGE’s purchase offer
In just over two weeks, Trump, the head of the Ministry of Government Efficiency (DOGE) became the target of the Democratic anger, and many protested against him.
On Saturday, Musk claimed that Doge revealed that the Treasury Ministry had instructed the staff to approve payments to “known fraudulent or terrorist groups”.

The Democrats were outraged that Musk, the private citizen, had access to the payment systems of the sensitive treasury class.

In a letter to federal legislators on Tuesday, an official at the Treasury Ministry said the TECH managing director, cooperating with DOGE, would “only read access” to the government’s payment system.

Despite the anger of the Democrats, Scott Bessent’s treasury secretary defended Musk during the appearance of Fox Business “Kudlow”.
“Elon Musk is the biggest entrepreneur of the generation,” Bessent said. “Doge will not fail. Many people are moving cheese here in the capital, and when they hear this sting, the Status Quo’s interest is not happy.”
