US officials are investigating that Chinese artificial intelligence (AI) started Deepseek, whose latest models have sent the world -tech world crazy, used advanced NVIDIA semiconductors that are restricted from transport to China, according to several reports.
Deepseek new AI models, which are rival made by US technology companies, but on Monday at a fraction of costs and caused concerns for US companies to lose their advantage in AI.

Deepseek said he was using the NVIDIA H800 chips, which he could buy legally in 2023. Reuters could not determine that Deepseek was using other controlled chips that they could not let in China.
Deepsek also has a less huge H20 of NVIDIA, which can still be legally transported to China. The United States considers controlling Biden under administration, and newly appointed Trump officials also discuss this.
