An iconic baby food brand stops teeth after a child was sent to the rescue room after use.
On January 31, Gerber announced the recall of Souot N Chew’s bots. In a press release issued by the parent company Nestlé USA, the brand said the products were “a potential suffocating threat to infants and young children.”
“The recall began after they received consumer complaints about suffocation events,” Gerber said in the release. “To this day, a visit to a rescue room has been reported.

States from distribution are Alaska, North Dakota, Wyoming, Louisiana and Wyoming. According to Gerber, the products have been “distributed nationwide through the Internet, as well as distribution centers and retail stores in the following states and areas”.
Carter products arrived twice: strawberry apples and bananas. Recalling and stopping are limited to these two flavors.
The edition emphasized that parents who buy chewing mats “should not be given this product to their children and return the product to the retailer, where it was purchased for a refund.”

“Anyone who is worried about injury or illness contacts the healthcare provider,” the statement said. “For the additional subsidies you need, Gerber 24/7 is available on 1-800-4-Gerber (1-800-443-7237).”
“We are working on this recall with the United States Food and Medicine Agency (FDA) and cooperate in full cooperation with them,” Gerber added. “We sincerely apologize for all the concerns or inconvenience this action means to parents, caregivers and retail customers.”
It is rare for Gerber to call back the products, but it has happened in the past. In 2023, the Gerber Baby Formula, which was recalled to the potentially content of the harmful bacteria, was mistakenly delivered to dozens of retailers after the start of the call.
