In the busy market near the Sudanese capital, the body was filled with body, says medical charity doctors without border (MSF).
According to the MSF and the Sudanese authorities, the paramilitary rapid support forces (RSF) are responsible for attacks on Saturday in Omdurman, which killed and wounded more than 100 people, this statement was denied by the RSF.
Most people murdered on the market were women and children, says the Sudanese doctors’ union.
The RSF and the Sudan army are locked into a civil war that has killed tens of thousands of people over 22 months and has made what the UN describes as one of the world’s worst humanitarian catastrophe.
In recent weeks, the army has increased an attack in Omdurman, which is located above the Nile River from the capital of the Khartouum to regain full control of RSF.
Eyewitnesses told the AFP news agency that Saturday’s artillery shooting comes from Western -omdurman, where RSF was still in control.
Saturday’s explosion caused “complete bloodshed” at nearby Al Nao Hospital, which was injured by injured patients, said Chris Lockyear, Secretary General of MSF.
The Sudanese doctors’ union appealed to close doctors to help the hospital, saying “lack of acute medical staff”.
He added that a shell had fallen from the hospital on Saturday.
One of the survivors of the market attack told the AFP news agency: “Shells were hit in the middle of the vegetable market, so the victims and the wounded are so much.”
Both are accused of targeting civilians, including health workers, and the uncovered peel of residential areas.
Recent clashes have forced emergency responding premises to close several health centers, influencing medical services to thousands of residents.
