The Trump administration launched the first anti -monopoly action on Thursday and announced the lawsuit to prevent the $ 14 billion tech agreement.
The United States Ministry of Justice has filed a lawsuit to prevent Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) to purchase the rival wireless local network (WLAN) technology provider, Juniper Networks.
According to the complaint, Juniper has grown rapidly to become a relatively small competitor in the corporate WLAN market to become the three largest American suppliers in the technology. DOJ’s complaint noted that HPE “has a must -have training for its engineers and salesmen to” defeat “Juniper when competing for contracts, adding that the HPE sales teams considered the threat of the Juniper” terrible. ”
